Using analytical equations to represent nonlinear relationships

چکیده
Table functions, also referred to as graphical provide a powerful and user-friendly way represent nonlinear relationships between variables in system dynamics (SD) models. However, many cases modelers may benefit from using analytical equations for model sensitivity testing communicating with researchers other fields disciplines. We propose six that can be used of the commonly formulated table functions SD Specifically, this article provides guidance on generalized logistic function, exponential modified quadratic logarithmic function power replace existing functions. Importantly, we present version each equation includes an interior reference point. demonstrate how apply these models by replacing original World Dynamics model. Python script help implement our recommended procedure incorporating into Vensim macro equation. © 2022 The Authors. System Review published John Wiley & Sons Ltd behalf Society.

Analytical-Approximate Solution for Nonlinear Volterra Integro-Differential Equations
In this work, we conduct a comparative study among the combine Laplace transform and modied Adomian decomposition method (LMADM) and two traditional methods for an analytic and approximate treatment of special type of nonlinear Volterra integro-differential equations of the second kind. The nonlinear part of integro-differential is approximated by Adomian polynomials, and the equation is reduce...
متن کاملANALYTICAL-NUMERICAL SOLUTION FOR NONLINEAR INTEGRAL EQUATIONS OF HAMMERSTEIN TYPE
Using the mean-value theorem for integrals we tried to solved the nonlinear integral equations of Hammerstein type . The mean approach is to obtain an initial guess with unknown coefficients for unknown function y(x). The procedure of this method is so fast and don't need high cpu and complicated programming. The advantages of this method are that we can applied for those integral equations whi...
متن کاملA New Analytical Approach to Flight Equations
The six-degree equations of flight in their classic form do not provide a proper physical perception due to a number of interferences. Nor do they render visible the important role of attack angles. In this study, attempts have been made to develop a complete set of 3D acceleration equations from the equations of normal and tangential acceleration αN=vωv, αt=v ̇. For this purpose, a coordinate s...
